Careers at Hoover Learning Group
Build your career as a CALT with Hoover
Do meaningful work. Deepen your expertise. Practice alongside excellent people. Hoover is building a nationwide network of exceptional CALTs, with full-time and part-time opportunities to serve students virtually and in person.
Students need great CALTs. We're building the team to reach them.
At Hoover Learning Group, our Certified Academic Language Therapists are the heart of what we do. Demand for high-quality dyslexia therapy continues to grow, and we are expanding our virtual therapy model so more students can work with exceptional CALTs regardless of where they live.
That means we are looking for talented CALTs across the country who want to do meaningful clinical work as part of a supportive, growing organization — whether that's a full-time role, a flexible part-time opportunity, or a next step while completing your CALT training.
Great therapy shouldn't be limited by geography
Our virtual model lets exceptional CALTs work with students who need them, wherever they are. The work stays personal, structured, and clinically supported — this is dyslexia therapy, not generic online tutoring. Virtual therapists follow the same standards, systems, and clinical support as our in-person team.
Still working toward your CALT?
We're committed to developing the next generation of CALTs
Meaningful caseload experience, clinical support, collaboration, and a culture that takes professional growth seriously — we want to hear from CALTs-in-training too.
Why join us

-
Whether you work virtually or in person, you are part of a clinical community. Hoover CALTs share ideas, resources, feedback, and support instead of practicing in isolation.

We are building both full-time and part-time opportunities, with room for talented CALTs at different stages and seasons of their careers.
-
Serve Hoover students from virtually anywhere in the country while remaining connected to one clinical team, shared standards, and ongoing support.

Excellent clinicians keep learning. Professional development, clinical feedback, collaboration, and shared learning are built into how we work. Hoover is a place to sharpen your judgment, expand your skills, and continue growing in your profession.
-
We believe exceptional therapy combines program fidelity, professional judgment, strong relationships, and close attention to student progress. Our CALTs care deeply about their craft and whether their students are getting better.

We want therapists who bring ideas and take ownership of the work. Our CALTs help shape how we serve students, support families, develop clinicians, and build a stronger organization for the future.
