Hoover Learning Group is growing in Louisville, and we are looking for a Certified Academic Language Therapist (CALT) or therapist currently enrolled in and progressing through CALT training to join our team.
Our Louisville practice is growing quickly, and we are excited to add another therapist to the team. Families are already seeking out Hoover for individualized dyslexia therapy, creating an opportunity for the right CALT or CALT-in-training to step into a growing practice with strong demand, established support, and room to build a meaningful caseload.

What You'll Do
Provide individualized dyslexia therapy and structured literacy intervention, including use of the Take Flight curriculum as appropriate.
Work consistently with students and monitor their progress.
Communicate regularly with parents and families.
Collaborate with Hoover therapists, teachers, and other professionals supporting the student.
Maintain appropriate session and progress documentation.
Participate in professional development and Hoover team activities.
Contribute ideas for improving student outcomes and the Hoover experience.
What We're Looking For
Certified Academic Language Therapist (CALT) or currently enrolled in an established CALT training program.
Commitment to evidence-based structured literacy intervention.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to build positive relationships with students and families.

Schedule
We are hiring for both full-time and part-time positions. Full-time therapists may build a substantial Hoover caseload, while part-time therapists may maintain a consistent schedule alongside other professional or personal commitments.
Afternoon and early-evening availability is particularly valuable because many of our students attend school during the day.
Compensation & Benefits
Hoover offers competitive compensation based on credentials, experience, schedule, and employment structure. Depending on the role and candidate, compensation may be structured on a salaried, hourly, or other mutually agreed basis.
Full-time positions may include health insurance, paid time off and holidays, professional development assistance, professional dues reimbursement, work-related travel reimbursement, and support for continued CALT training and certification, where applicable.
